Sliding Scale Tuition
The Free School offers a sliding scale tuition model in order to allow all members of our community to assure access to alternative education without economic barriers. Our sliding scale acts as a cultural and economic equalizer and ensures our community remains economically, socially, and racially diverse.
How it works
Families wishing to participate in the sliding scale are asked to complete a financial worksheet during the re-enrollment or application process to determine their students’ tuition.
*Please note that tuition discounts and work trades for lowered tuition will be determined on a case by case basis by our Board of Directors and current School Director.
*Tuition Scholarship is equivalent to work trade.
